OUTRUN ALD 5K PRESENTED BY X OUT ALD

The 2025 Outrun ALD 5K took place on September 20, 2025. It was another incredibly successful event that raised $95,000  for ALD research.

The Outrun ALD 5K is an annual virtual event. Run, walk, bike, or cheer wherever you are while helping raise awareness and funds to support the tireless efforts of the physicians and researchers at the University of Minnesota Leukodystrophy Center. 100% of funds raised from the  virtual 5K are donated to the University of Minnesota's Leukodystrophy Center for ALD research. 

Our goal is to provide critical funding to launch imperative ALD research projects. As one of the largest transplant centers in the world, the University of Minnesota is uniquely positioned to answer important questions about ALD. Without our support, this life-saving research might not otherwise make it to the lab.
